Musical polymath Will Holland, better known as Quantic, has launched a special series of EPs to celebrate Aus Music's 200th release. Known for his genre-defying soundscapes that span from cumbia to club beats, Quantic delivers a dynamic blend of live disco and house music in this celebratory release.
The 'Tropics' EP marks the first of four planned EPs from various artists, all commemorating the influential AUS Music label. Since its inception in 2006, AUS Music, under the leadership of Will Saul, has consistently released club-ready tracks with a unique, cultured twist, promoting cutting-edge artists across house and bass music.
The second track to be released from 'Tropics' is 'Born Again,' featuring Grammy-nominated Canadian vocalist Laura Roy. Her emotional, soulful vocals blend effortlessly with the lush instrumental, creating a groovy yet cosmic vibe. Roy’s production, which fuses 70s folk and 90s R&B influences, adds depth to the track, while the instrumental version offers another layer of the EP’s rich sonic palette.
With the 'Tropics' EP, Quantic reaffirms his place as one of the most creative forces in electronic music, continuing his legacy of blending world music with club culture in a way that feels fresh and timeless.
