Rising electronic duo Sunora have officially announced the launch of their brand new record label, SUNCTURE. This strategic move serves as a dedicated platform for the pair to explore groove-led, emotionally resonant house music, characterized by warmth and atmospheric depth.
The label’s inaugural release, Echoes of Light, is a three-track EP produced in collaboration with FunkT!de. The project showcases a signature sound built upon analog textures, rolling basslines, and understated, hypnotic vocals—a sonic palette designed to transition seamlessly from open-air environments to intimate, late-night dancefloors.
Reflecting on the label's inception, Sunora shared: “We started SUNCTURE to have a space where we can release music without overthinking it; just trusting our taste and the feeling. ‘Echoes of Light’ came together very naturally with FunkT!de, and it felt like the right way to open this new chapter.”
Sunora, the collaborative project of Chertkovski and Alar, represents a fresh direction in modern house music. By combining deep studio craftsmanship with a strong sense of mood, the duo has already garnered support from industry heavyweights, including BBC Radio 1. Their latest offering follows their successful collaboration, Bianco Montana, with Lee Burridge on All Day I Dream, released earlier this spring.
Both artists bring significant individual pedigree to the project. Chertkovski, a staple of the Russian electronic scene, has earned acclaim from artists like Nora En Pure, NTO, Eelke Kleijn, and Vintage Culture. Now based in Bali, he continues to expand his global footprint through high-profile performances and his work with the Reverse Festival. Meanwhile, Alar remains a dominant force in melodic electronic music, with his productions supported by icons such as Solomun, Adriatique, and Pete Tong.
The launch of SUNCTURE coincides with a busy touring schedule for the duo, who recently completed a series of open-air performances across Thailand. As they continue to define their artistic identity, Sunora remains focused on creating music that is both expansive and deeply personal.
