After a career spanning over a decade, British rap icon Nines has announced that his next album, 'Quit While You're Ahead', will be his last.
Bittersweetly-titled, Nines' sixth album will be released on 27th September. He's also revealed news of his swan song headline show, set for 27th November at the O2 Arena in London. The album was announced through a spectacular drone display over the O2 during an event at Magazine London.
The first single from 'Quit While You're Ahead' is titled 'Tony Soprano 3', and features a cinematic music video directed by Nines himself.
Nines has had an incredible career. Since dropping his debut album, 'One Foot Out' in 2017, he's risen to rap royalty, with five Top 5 albums, including the UK Official Singles Chart 'Crabs In A Bucket' from 2020. In the same year, he swept the MOBO Awards, winning multiple honours as the most nominated artist that year, landing 'Best Album of the Year'.
As Nine bows out of music, it marks the end of an era. We're left with the question, what will he do next?
