Elektrotribe Records, the esteemed imprint helmed by Moog Conspiracy, has officially released the latest project from producer Nino Blink. Titled Headquarters, the EP is a masterclass in modern techno, blending hypnotic, driving grooves with raw, industrial-leaning sound design.
Hailing from Scotland and currently based in Singapore, Nino Blink has established himself as a significant force in the global electronic music circuit. Having previously spearheaded the influential BLINK party series at Club 69, his transition to the Singaporean scene has further solidified his role as a dedicated ambassador for underground techno. This debut on Elektrotribe follows a string of successful releases that have consistently climbed the Beatport Top 100 Techno charts, marking Headquarters as a highly anticipated addition to his discography.

The title track, "Headquarters," serves as the EP's centerpiece. It features a swirling, immersive groove characterized by bleeping melodies and dystopian pads, all anchored by a fast-paced, relentless percussion section. Complementing this is the second original track, "MDLR," which showcases a mesmerizing arpeggio melody woven into intricate drum patterns, designed specifically for high-intensity dance floor environments.
The release is bolstered by two distinct remix interpretations. Javier Ferreira, known for his eclectic production style that spans deep tech to heavy techno, contributes a powerful breakbeat-infused remix of the title track. Meanwhile, MRDIE—whose artistic evolution has seen him transition from the dark minimal sounds associated with Richie Hawtin’s M-nus label to a more driving, modern techno aesthetic—delivers a transformative take on "MDLR," introducing a fresh melodic layer and a rolling, heavy-hitting bassline.
With Headquarters, Nino Blink continues to prove his technical prowess and ability to craft soundscapes that resonate with both the mind and the body. The EP is available now for those looking to add a sophisticated, driving edge to their collections.
