The Metropolitan Museum of Art launched Sun Sets, a series of electronic music nights on The Cantor Roof Garden Bar. The series will take place Friday and Saturday evenings from July 1 through September 3. New York‘s MetLiveArts aims to celebrate electronic music culture’s freedom, inclusivity, and creativity with a series of rooftop events showcasing the diversity of sounds emanating from the city’s ever-evolving music underground.
Moreover, those attending Sun Sets can expect performances by Liondub, Kristine Barilli, Toribio, Vivan Wang, the Uklon collective, and more. Here is what Max Hollein, Marina Kellen French Director of The Met, had to say about this series.

We’re thrilled to welcome this phenomenal group of electronic artists to the Cantor Roof Garden this summer and for all to enjoy the energy and music while taking in the stunning views of Central Park and the city skyline.”
As stated before, the Sun Sets series will run this summer on Friday and Saturday evenings, from 5:30 to 8:30 p.m. The concerts will be free with Museum admission, with no reservations required.
