HARDWELL is back in action, and we couldn’t be happier. This past March the big room legend returned, albeit with a different sound. This is a sound that some would describe as being ‘big room techno’. As a fan of both of genres, I would have to agree. If there was any artist who could combine the two, HARDWELL would be the one to do it. Since returning to the festival circuit, HARDWELL has released four new tunes in this new style of his. His latest track ‘Dopamine‘ is his fifth. If you’re a fan of HARDWELL, or this new sound of his, you’re going to want to check this one out.
‘Dopamine‘ starts fast with a galloping bass-line, and a 4/4 techno drumbeat. From here, the tune is adorned with a playful synth, that keeps the listener wanting more. At two minutes and twenty-five seconds into the song, we get what is unmistakably the drop. If you’re a fan of big room, you might like this as I believe it to be fist-pump worthy. On the other hand, if you’re into techno, the synth work is catchy enough to really get you grooving. Put the two together, and you’ve got yourself a club banger.
If you’re a fan of Hardwell’s take on techno then this is a tune for you. If not, I highly recommend giving ‘Dopamine‘ a listen. After doing so, you may just find yourself as a new fan of this new era of HARDWELL music. Hardwell’s latest tune, ‘Dopamine‘ is out now on Revealed Recordings, and can be streamed below, enjoy!
