Wenzday Returns To hau5trap With House Anthem ‘Nowhere’

Wenzday has been bringing her groove and heat to House lately. Her newest trackNowherewill get any club moving. Her second release on hau5trap, ‘Nowhere’ combines tech house grooves with sweaty bass house. The drop features a heavy sub and a pounding kick. Funky and tingling synths give our ears all the candy they need.

The track begins with a daft punk-like vocal. “Go Nowhere” tells us we got nowhere to go but get ready for this drop. This track reminds me fondly of her recent release ‘Get Down.’ Wenzday has a clear and distinct sonic sound recently and I am all here for it.

An almost drumless bridge gets us ready for a tension-filled build. Drop #2 features harder-hitting synths that will get anyone’s feet moving. Her inspiration for the record came from the familiar gray area confusion known to precede relationships. She had this to say about the track:

When you are confused about where you stand and are afraid to admit your feelings. I wanted the call and response of the vocal to emulate the back and forth that goes on inside your head right before you text someone and tell them how you truly feel.

Wenzday will be at Firefly Music Festival this Fall. Make sure to check out ‘Nowhere’ below!
