Argentian DJ and producer, Tomas Heredia, is giving us a taste of summer with his newest EP Before The Ashes. It consists of three tracks and we see its release on Armada Music. This is some groovy trance.
The title track ‘Before The Ashes‘ starts off spectacular with an infectious bassline followed by a soulful vocal echoing in the background. An additional humming vocal sings to the melody, weaving in and out of the track for some depth. Once the breakdown hits, your bodies tense up with excitement waiting for it to drop. You’ll hear tiny trance synth bits twinkling in the background. Then, boom! It hits you like a fever, a dancing fever.
‘Attraction‘ is such a catchy dance tune, and one that is favored by the public. This one could be voted a summer dance track. It’s melodic, it’s progressive, it’s ambient and so spicy. Angelic synths sound off in the background, giving us mad trance vibes. As the big room drop breaks, we get slight Jaytech vibes.
Lastly is ‘Gave U My Love (Mike Saint-Jules Remix)‘ where MSJ took Heredia’s original and put a progressive, melodic take to it. It’s very drawn out and hypnotic, very Anjunadeep vibes.
You’ll want to keep an eye on this rising star in the trance scene. He already has releases on Armind, A State Of Trance, and Coldharbour. Starting music-making at 16, he garners massive support from Armin van Buuren. Plus, his notable remixes cover the works of Above & Beyond, Dash Berlin, Rank 1, Cerf, and Mitiska & Jaren.
