Following last month’s ‘iPad‘ and January’s ‘High,’ The Chainsmokers just dropped another new track ahead of their upcoming album. Featuring heavily autotuned vocals from Drew Taggart and a poppy soundscape, ‘Riptide‘ is a classic emotive Chainsmokers record. High-profile musicians contributed to the thoughtfully designed lyrics and songwriting, including Coldplay’s Chris Martin, Whethan, and Emily Warren, who’s worked with artists like the Backstreet Boys, Dua Lipa, Shawn Mendes, and Khalid.
‘Riptide’ is the third single off the forthcoming So Far So Good, which will see the light of day in its entirety on May 13th via Disruptor/Columbia Records. So Far So Good marks the fourth full-length album from the duo, following Memories…Do Not Open in 2017, Sick Boy in 2018, and World War Joy in 2019.
