Swedish House Mafia Cuts Ties With Management And Columbia Records

Yeah, they haven’t released new music since coming back. They’ve kept us all on the verge. They’ve lost the attention of many, to be honest. However, Swedish House Mafia continues making headlines. The Swedish trio, first reunited back in 2018 has not graced its fans with any new music since coming back. Many expected the pandemic would at least allow us to listen to what they’ve been working on. Sadly, it hasn’t been so. However, Swedish House Mafia returned to the EDM industry’s headlines after announcing they’ve parted ways with their former manager Ron Laffite and Columbia Records. This just adds more and more speculations. Does Swedish House Mafia have new music on the way? Was it all for nothing?

Swedish House Mafia

So, after parting ways with their manager and Columbia Records, what’s next for Swedish House Mafia?

Despite what many of you may think, my faith is still intact. Swedish House Mafia is the equivalent of a superteam in the NBA. Today’s Brooklyn Nets=SHM. And I do believe they have something on the way. Yeah, it is taking a long time. I know. And the merch launches and ticket dynamics aren’t what we want. But, think about this. It can’t be too easy to return to what you were. By the time ‘One Las Tour’ began, SHM was on pair with the biggest EDM artists of all time. They were rockstars. There’s no other way to put it.

I can’t tell which direction will the Swedish House Mafia take. However, my faith stands strong. And I mean it. These three have given men countless amazing moments. So, yeah, I can wait. I understand if you’re angry at them. I totally do. But I believe in the Swedish House Mafia. Steve Angello. Axwell. Sebastian Ingrosso. They changed EDM forever. And I’m sure they’ll manage to do so once again. You can keep the receipts on this one.

We come. We rave. We love.
