22-year-old Moncton native Roderick Porter graces our pages once again today with his new track "HUNNIT BANDZ" which gives off a strong Lil Peep vibe. Roderick gave us a nice run-down of the significance behind the new release, "'HUNNIT BANDZ' is symbolic. It's the first clear separation and meaningful shift in my lyrical content. It's a triumphant graduation ceremony. The song is dedicated to acknowledging, growing, and overcoming the mental health focused lyrics of my previous catalogue, while still maintaining the lyrical intimacy I strive to keep between my fans and I. It feel like I've finally learned to appreciate the success I've had thus far and this song is just me being able to overlook everything I've made for myself and how far I've come."
In October 2020, look out for Roderick Porter's debut full-length album, Prototype Eternal. Inspired by his musical contemporaries including Baby Keem, 070 Shake and Kid Cudi.
