A festival of kicks and an uplifting melody coming your way!
This week has leant quite a bit more towards Hardstyle than other genres, mainly because of the recently-held Defqon.1 2023 festival. So, let’s keep that direction moving forward to the weekend. We have one more track in store for you, and that is ‘By Me‘, the latest track by DJ & producer OutPhaze.
The rising artist has been making waves lately, with six releases in just a year and a half, and having played gigs in Chile and Brazil. The K1-Recordz resident has made himself a name and a place in the Reverse Bass subgenre of the Harder Styles family, and his sound is characterised by distorted vocals, surprise chops, and sudden changes along each song.
Fast acid arpeggios welcome you to this track, setting the mood for later. The slightly bled-out vocal enters along with an engulfing bass, anticipating the drop, which, wait until it hits you because it packs a handful of kicks. A couple of Reverse kicks, some Raw ones, and tons of changes during the trip.
Falling into the break, the energy keeps it going, for the vocal leads you to the main melody, which makes you bring your hands up in the air. In true Hardstyle fashion, you can’t help but sing along. Well, that’s what the second drop is for. Rave away with this brilliant track.
