Martin Garrix is back with more heat. On the heels of dropping his massive Sentio album, ‘Loop’ is a collaboration with DallasK. This is the first time the two have formally worked together. DallasK of course remixed Martin’s ‘In The Name Of Love,’ one in which he plays almost every show. Their new track features an unmistakable vocal from Sasha Alex Sloan.
Sasha kicks the track off with gorgeous vocals. She does a phenomenal job of setting the vibe. The tune is melodic but with throbbing emotion. The theme centers around breaking up and getting back together. A build increases tension before a groovy bass-line heavy drop. Sasha’s vocals are infectious and will be in your head all day long.
This one is primed for both festivals and your car. We can expect some big remixes of this as well. ‘Loop’ reminds me fondly of Garrix’s track with Tove Lo ‘Pressure.’ They both present that dark club pop vibe. Martin had this to say about the track:
“I have been playing this song in my sets for quite some time now and the crowds’ responses have been great. I loved working with Dallas and I’m super stoked to finally release this one!”
The surreal official video for ‘Loop’ finds a woman embarking on what seems to be just another night on the town. As she moves through the busy streets and colorful clubs of Las Vegas, she encounters Garrix and DallasK on the dreamy journey. Make sure to check out ‘Loop’ below!
