After gaining popularity in late 2019 with the hit songs "6locc Baby" and "Gang Unit," Lil Loaded is back with mixtape A Demon In 6lue. Hailing from San Bernardino, California, now representing Dallas, Texas, Lil Loaded doesn't shy away from opening about his struggles, his lifestyle and his come up. He's generated enough of a buzz that the likes of NLE Choppa, YG and Polo G are featured on the project.
Lil Loaded has compiled comparisons to 21 Savage and NLE Choppa, but he stated in an interview with XXL that his style’s been compared to: "21 Savage, [NLE] Choppa. That's really it. It's hard to compare me. I'm from California, you can hear that, but I still got the southern drawl, too. That's why I think my music is doing so well. I'm on my own wave." After the mixtapes release, Lil Loaded teased a deluxe edition and 6locc 6a6y 2, the sequel to his debut mixtape.
