Gareth Emery just announced a socially distanced pod party series called Decade. It will feature all the hits from 2010-2020, taking place at the CA Center for the Arts in Escondido. This will be the first event of the series and it takes place on Saturday, May 15th.
DECADE IS HAPPENING. My first ever set entirely comprised of my own productions. It’s been streamed once, but it’s never happened in real life. Until now. (where should we bring it?) As you may know, we had a massive tour planned last year but had to cancel it, instead of doing a hugely successful PPV live stream. That might have been the end of the story. But when I watched back this stream recently, I decided there’s no way these songs get their final plays here.
There are so many tracks in this set that are filled with memories. Every time I hear each one, I’m transported back to a moment in time, who I was with, where I lived, the emotions I was feeling… and I know they have this effect on many of you, too. So, given DECADE is likely the final time I’ll play a lot of these old tracks in front of a crowd, I’m going to give them the send-off they deserve. Let’s do this. Gaz x

You can read the remainder of the post here. To sum up, he’s giving us a bunch of DECADE shows this year in places that he’s loved visiting over the years. They start in SoCal with a proper sound system, production, and just 30 mins from San Diego. Be on the lookout for a potential live stream as well. Snag your spot with the pre-registration link here. Tickets go on sale Thursday at 10 am PST.
