Denzel Curry has officially released the album version of 'KING OF THE MISCHIEVOUS SOUTH', transforming his summer mixtape 'KING OF THE MISCHIEVOUS SOUTH VOL. 2' into a full-fledged album.
The new release includes a reconfigured tracklist and five additional songs, such as 'STILL IN THE PAINT' featuring Bktherula and Lazer Dim 700. The album also boasts fresh collaborations with artists like 454, Duke Deuce, Sauce Walka, and Key Nyata.
Last night, Curry unveiled a new music video for 'GOT ME GEEKED,' a melodic solo track that showcases a different side of his musical repertoire. Earlier this week, he made a surprise appearance on Kai Cenat’s Twitch livestream, generating significant buzz. Today Curry will make his debut at Camp Flog Gnaw in Los Angeles, adding to his already busy year.
In the lead-up to the Vol. 2 mixtape release in July, Curry grabbed attention online with 'HOT ONE' featuring A$AP Ferg and TiaCorine.. He followed this with the single 'BLACK FLAG FREESTYLE' featuring That Mexican OT, and a live performance of 'HOODLUMZ' on BBC Radio 1’s Rap Show.
Curry’s 'King Of The Mischievous South' pays homage to the rich musical heritage of the South - a topic he discusses in our exclusive Zel-Zine - featuring contributions from Memphis legends Juicy J and Project Pat, Texas icons Sauce Walka and Maxo Kream, and many more.
With this album, Denzel Curry continues to push boundaries and expand his influence, solidifying his status as a key figure in contemporary hip-hop.
'KING OF THE MISCHIEVOUS SOUTH' is out now.
