Cercle Festival Announces Expansion to San José del Cabo, México

Cercle has officially announced the arrival of its acclaimed Cercle Festival in San José del Cabo, México. Scheduled for November 14-15, 2026, the event will take place amidst the unique, desert-meets-ocean landscapes of Baja California Sur.

Building on the massive success of its Paris editions, the festival is evolving into a more intimate, boutique format. Attendees can expect a curated experience running from 2 PM to 2 AM each day, set against a backdrop of desert tones, lush palm trees, and the Pacific coastline.

A New Chapter for Cercle

Since its inception, Cercle Festival has established itself as a premier international meeting point for electronic music enthusiasts. Known for hosting events in historically significant locations—such as the National Air & Space Museum of France—the festival is now extending its reach to Latin America. The 2026 edition in Mexico represents a strategic evolution, focusing on a limited-capacity environment that prioritizes depth and connection over sheer scale.

The Venue: Crania

The festival will be hosted at Crania, an innovative open-air artistic venue celebrated for its commitment to sustainability and creative reuse. By utilizing repurposed structures, the site provides a distinct setting where architecture and environmental consciousness intersect. The event will feature two primary stages: one positioned near the ocean and another nestled within a tranquil palm garden, offering attendees a diverse sensory experience.

I’ve stood in a lot of beautiful places, but Baja California really does something different to you… The colors, the light, the contrast… it’s very special there. We’ve built so many meaningful memories in Mexico over the past years, so bringing the festival there for the first time outside of France felt natural. I want this to feel unique, timeless, and fully connected to its surroundings. — Derek Barbolla, Founder and Artistic Director of Cercle.

The event promises a carefully curated lineup of international and local artists, reflecting both the global identity of the Cercle brand and the vibrant cultural energy of Mexico. While the full lineup is yet to be revealed, the focus remains on creating a destination gathering where the intersection of music, landscape, and community takes center stage.

Pre-registration is currently open for those looking to secure tickets for the upcoming event. The pre-sale is scheduled for May 6, followed by the general sale on May 7.
