Berlin-based artist Mogli returns with a poignant new track, 'cupped and open, featuring Mogli's signature blend of delicate electronic pop and deeply emotional songwriting.
'cupped and open' is a deeply personal piece for Mogli, reflecting on a special relationship that provides both safety and freedom. "It’s a hopeful story in dark times, saying: a gentle love is indeed possible," Mogli explains.
The track serves as a preview of Mogli's upcoming project, with a series of new singles expected in 2025.
Mogli, who has made a name for herself as a singer, songwriter, actress, producer, filmmaker, model, designer, and art director, first gained recognition with her 2017 documentary 'Expedition Happiness' and its accompanying album 'Wanderer'. She traversed into music with the 2019 EP 'Patience' and 2022 cinematic album 'Ravage', which offered a unique experience of ten songs that could be enjoyed as individual music videos or as a complete film.
Mogli's forthcoming album 'paradox' explores themes of her indigenous heritage, neurodiversity, and personal purpose, blending spiritual and electronic sounds across eight tracks.
