A few days ago, an Instagram post showed Ward from W&W in the hospital with COVID-19 on his birthday. It’s unfortunate for him during a time that was supposed to be somewhat normal again.
Because of Ward’s situation, the duo has chosen to cancel some upcoming shows until he feels better. Ward is doing okay and W&W mainly moved forward with show cancellations to ensure their fans don’t get sick. Here is what Ward had to say:
“Unfortunately I’m sick with COVID-19 this holiday season. I’m sorry for having to cancel our upcoming shows, but I am focusing on getting better and can’t put anyone at risk. I want to wish everyone happy and healthy holidays. I hope to see you all very soon!”
On the other hand, W&W has been actively making and playing music. In November 2021, they released ‘Moonlight Shadow‘ with Groove Coverage. And earlier in 2021, the Dutch duo and AXMO produced ‘Skydance‘ featuring Giin.
