David Guetta once again rang in the new year with a stellar livestream set this time from the Louvre in Abu Dhabi. He set himself on a custom-made stage at the art museum in the United Arab Emirates location. For those that missed him last year, he performed an awesome NYE set at the Paris Louvre Glass Pyramid. Now, he’s starting off 2022 with an extension of his virtual United At Home series.
His stage overlooks the Persian Gulf and he plays for just over an hour with original tracks and remixes. Not to mention, you get to watch the immaculately coordinated laser synchronization to the music. Guetta starts off with ‘Soundstorm‘ and follows with Fabrication’s ‘Hot Foot’. Then, he throws in his ‘Titanium’ remix and ‘Love Tonight’ from Shouse. Giving us a good taste of Swedish House Mafia and The Weeknd’s ‘Moth To A Flame’, he mashes that up with Artbat’s ‘Horizon’. No 2021 mix is complete without Acraze’s sensational single that took the world by storm with ‘Do It To It’. Tracks from Coldplay, BTS, Morten, Rufus Du Sol, and Energy 52, close out the set.
The progressive house vibes coast throughout the hour intertwined with moments of drama and flair. Near the end, the techno hits along with some future rave sounds. What’s more is David looks so happy performing up there and when he feels the energy, we feel it too. It’s what makes us follow him every year. This year, you can find David touring in Ibiza, at Creamfields North and South, Palmesus Festival, and Sunrise Festival. In case you missed it, catch the David Guetta NYE livestream from the weekend below.
