Ahead of the devastating news of this year’s event cancellation, Tomorrowland has shared photos of this year’s Around The World Amicorum mainstage and theme. The digital event will return for its second edition this year in place of the live Belgium festival.
Tomorrowland revealed on social media the mythical theme for Around The World 2021: The Amicorum Spectaculum. Organizers give fans a glimpse of what they can expect during their return to Pāpiliōnem, revealing an enormous tent-like castle designed with the latest 3D technology.
This year’s Pāpiliōnem will consist of 6 stages, filled with performances from the world’s top dance music artists. This year’s lineup features music producers such as Armin Van Buuren, Afrojack, Nicky Romero, Tale of Us, Vini Vici, and more. Entertainers of Amicorum will also join these performers throughout the festival to enhance the digital Tomorrowland experience.
Organizers recently released the full timetable for the event, revealing no time zone conflicts. Fans will need to tune in at 6 PM local time. Online festival-goers will have the option to attend the event at any of the stages: Mainstage, Atmosphere, Core, The Wall, Elixir, and Moose Bar.
Tomorrowland 2021 was initially set to take place this summer on August 27-29 and September 3-5. However, due to government officials denying festival permits, organizers were unable to overcome the situation, despite great efforts to find a solution.
The 2021 edition of Around the World will take place on Friday, July 16 and Saturday, July 17. Stay tuned for more updates on the online festival.
