Sam Feldt is on a real roll this year after successfully releasing ‘Post Malone’ — a major track with 240 million streams to date. Now, he is back with UK duo Sigma and Gia Koka for another certifiably gold song called ‘2 Hearts‘. This is a feel good anthem featuring the collaborative force behind massive tracks like ‘Nobody To Love’ and superstars like Take That and Rita Ora.
It starts off with trumpets bellowing a triumphant tune and the sweet vocals of singer-songwriter, Gia Koka come in. Right off the bat you feel Feldt’s energy and tone. Its tropical, deep vibes put us in such a good mood. The lyrics tell a love story, where “two hearts are better than one”. We hear tropical percussion and horns; they add flavor once the track continues.
Overall, it is a classic Sam Feldt sound sprinkled with some Latin energy. We see its release at the start of 2020 and on Spinnin‘ Records. Sam is a staple to this label, which makes this a great addition to his repertoire. Filled with such positivity, we think it’s a great way to get the new year going.
Koka is the mastermind behind many big lyrical tunes including ‘Crazy’ by Lost Frequencies & Zonderling. Her contribution here proves to be formidable once again.
Cam Edwards and Joe Lenzie make up drum and bass masters, Sigma. We don’t see their typical tempo in this one. But we do notice and appreciate their energies pulled into it. Their strong name is tied to great things, and this is yet another.
