Mixmag and International Music Summit launch Visionaries and Accelerator 2018

For a fifth year we're teaming up with to discover the next generation music industry innovators, influencers, and distributors.

Through the IMS x Mixmag Visionaries Contest and IMS Accelerator Contest you could kickstart your career within the electronic music industry.

This year we bring you two opportunities fering you a chance to receive a platform to pitch your ideas, pressional mentoring and support and a break into networking where you will be able to develop your work with some the most creative and forward-thinking figures in the industry.

If you're passionate about electronic music, have innovative ideas and aren't scared to disrupt the current industry mould, applications need to be submitted by March 21.

Applicants for the Visionaries Contest need to be between 18 and 25, and create a three to five-minute video on one the below themes:

What would you change to progress the Electronic Music industry?

What issues have you identified in the electronic music industry and what would you do to address them?

How do you see the electronic music industry evolving, what changes do you predict and why?

Once you've made the vid, upload it and share it on your social media channels using the hashtags #IMSVISIONARIES #IMS #MIXMAG #IMSIBIZA.

The winner Visionaries will receive: a return trip to the IMS event in Ibiza, a two-night stay at the Hard Rock Hotel, an IMS Ibiza delegate badge, a three-month mentorship program from SheSaid.So, a tailored career coaching session from participating industry partners and much more.

Previous Visionaries winners include Mixmag's own , who is now the West Coast Editor the US fice.

To apply to be apart the Accelerator Contest you need to be a start-up music business and send in your pitch deck video.

There will be three winners for Accelerator, with each to receive IMS Ibiza delegate badges, an introduction to potential clients, investors and mentors, access to TopicDNA Reporting Platform, and promotion on IMS digital platforms.
