There are few artists at the forefront of dance music with the uncanny ability to create hits in multiple genres. Marshmello & Nitti Gritti are a couple of producers who can do just that. Now, they are doing it together and bringing another, Megan Thee Stallion, along for the ride. Last month we brought you news of Marshmello & Carnage’s new collaboration titled ‘Back In Time’. The last time we wrote about Nitti Gritti, it was about his remix of Electric Polar Bears‘ tune ‘Little Things‘. Now, we bring you their newest collaboration featuring Megan Thee Stallion, titled ‘Bad Bitches‘.
If you didn’t know, ‘Bad Bitches’ is the third single from Marshmello’s forthcoming album. ‘Bad Bitches‘ features insane production work bolstering what I would consider being best from both producers. On one hand, we get to hear some dope sound design that both artists have built careers around, paired with some great vocal work, which Marshmello has come to be known for. In addition to this, the track is laid out upon a 4/4 houseboat that I can’t help but imagine came from an old Sidepiece project. We also get to hear some mic work taken from Megan Thee Stallion’s legendary performance at Rolling Loud, which honestly sounds pretty dope. With that being said, ‘Bad Bitches‘ is a fun track that I think you’re going to enjoy. I personally can’t wait to hear this one live.
With a runtime of only 2:32, this is a tune that you might want to play a time or two more. It goes by quickly, but that shouldn’t stop you from taking it all in.
