Lollapalooza Returns at Full-Capacity With an Epic Lineup

Lollapalooza returns in 2021, as organizers announced Tuesday, May 18 that the event will take place at full capacity. To celebrate the news, the music festival drops this year’s stacked lineup, featuring dance artists dominating the mainstream.

Chicago Mayor Lori Lightfoot debuted the official return of the music festival on Wednesday, May 19 with a video glimpsing at what is to come later this summer. In addition, he shares the precautions the event will take to guarantee fans a fun and safe experience.

Lollapalooza was initially set to take place in summer 2020. However, as many other music festivals experienced, organizers were forced to cancel the event in light of the pandemic.

As the world continues its gradual return to normalcy, organizers aim to bring back the summer festival in all of its glory. However, the only requirement fans must follow is to get vaccinated or test negative for COVID-19.

To celebrate the return of one of the largest festivals in the U.S., organizers released the lineup for the show. Foo Fighters, Post Malone, Tyler, The Creator, Miley Cyrus will be headlining the event, along with dance music favorites Illenium and Marshmello. Moreover, joining the electronic dance slots are Alison Wonderland, SLANDER, Steve Aoki, Dabin, Subtronics, Sullivan King, and more.

Lollapalooza will take place on July 29 – August 1, 2021 at Grant Park, Chicago. Tickets for the annual event are now on sale. Therefore, those interested in experiencing the Lollapalooza return can purchase their passes on the official festival website.
