Anjunadeep is presenting the second volume of their Reflections compilation series this January 13th. Filled with ambient, chillout, and downtempo music, the featured emerging artists showcase just what these sounds are about.
The first track is ‘Don’t Bite’ from REVE D’ELLE, the new musical project from Fur Skillman (Eli & Fur). It is a gentle and soft track, in contrast to their regular deep sound, thanks to her mystic songwriting and downtempo production skill. Though, the track is fitting for the latest sound of the Reflection series. It personifies an ode to the vulnerability that we don’t show because we’re afraid of love. BBC Radio 1’s Annie Mac and Danny Howard support Eliza Noble’s (Eli & Fur) chain of successes, so her sound is destined for this label.
Now, this volume follows the inaugural compilation release back in October. You’ve seen label stalwarts like Lane 8, Yotto, and Dusky on the series. Feast your ears on Jody Wisternoff, Kidnap, Croquet Club, Martin Roth, and Luttrell. Rising stars Luigi Sambuy, Lycoriscoris, Tryst, and Dotmaka also make the cut.
The long-awaited full release of Croquet Club’s Anjunadeep 09 highlight ‘Night Lights’ debuts on this album. Its exclusive piano-led contributions come from your favorite melodics Martin Roth and Luttrell, plus label debuts, Tryst, and Dotmaka.
Fans have taken to this new audiovisual narrative quite well with ‘Don’t Bite’. The tracklist is below for the remaining tracks. We’re interested to see where the rest of the songs take us.
