Kappa takes place in the industrial setting Parco Dora and this year will see the introduction an extra stage to accompany the hangars. This takes the festival's size up to 65,000 square metres.
With 50,000 expected to attend over the two days, Kappa is taking part in a research project, MONICA, for the development IoT technologies that "will allow a more efficient management public order and acoustic impact."
