The 33-year-old DJ and producer Joseph Capriati was hospitalized today after the incident. He is currently being treated at Sant’Anna e San Sebastiano hospital in Caserta, located in the region of Campania, Italy. According to the local newspaper La Reppublica, Capriati’s 61-year-old father had no previous criminal convictions. Certainly, a huge shock. The crime took place at the family’s home.
The police arrested Capriati’s father for attempted murder. After the horrific events took place the Rapid Intervention Unit of Caserta had to intervene to save the DJ’s life on Friday night. According to a preliminary investigation coming from the same source, an argument between both parts quickly took a turn for the worse and evolved into this violent crime and attempt on Capriati’s life.
Capriati and his father were accompanied by other members of the family, who also took part in the discussion. During the brawl, Joseph Capriati’s father stabbed him in the chest. The police confiscated the weapon and transferred the DJ to the hospital, where he’s still fighting for his life in critical condition. Capriati was living and working in Spain. However, due to the pandemic, he returned home.
