Titled ‘Make Me Feel’, John Summit’s latest track is set to define tech house’s newests sound.
Summit has had a meteoric rise. His tracks have become crowd-pleasers. Hailing from the mecca of house music, Chicago, this sound might be the next chapter inside tech house. And why not? John Summit’s definitely got it all to become the next big house sensation. Filled with crunchy drums, raw basslines, amazing vocals, and an all-around amazing sense of rhythm, there’s no stopping John Summit’s train. House music isn’t commonly dominated by American DJs. Summit, however, might be on pace to change that.
‘Make Me Feel’ is a dancefloor banger, locked and ready to hit sound systems just in time. The vocals on this track are seriously hypnotic, and the bassline is tight. The drop is hard enough to get you dancing without control. And if you ask me, the best part might be the build-up. That arpeggio is seriously something else. Props to Summit. While I might not be a big fan of all his music, this one swings it out of the park.
2021 is set to be Summit’s year. His powerful house sound is ready to take all over the world as life returns to normal, step by step. We’ll be keeping an eye on him and what’s to come.
