John Summit has had a hell of a year. The Chicago-born house DJ and music producer has been rising in prominence through the clubs and festival line ups. This year, his song ‘Sun Came Up‘ with Sofi Tukker got the Top 40 nod from the charts. And now John Summit is set to play back to back with house legend Carl Cox. This information is all based on a recent tweet from the star saying:
Carl Cox on the other hand has had, and continues to have a hell of a career. He is one of the most prolific and recognized names in all of house. Cox, now 60, has been working as a profession DJ for 45 years. The British phenom has put more time and energy into this life-blood-work than just about anyone.
John Summit is certainly feeling a “pinch me I’m dreaming” moment. To get to perform with one of the greats is a natural dream of any creative individual. And based on the sense of the tweet, it seems that John Summit is grateful and realizes how lucky he is.
EDMTunes wishes him and Carl a great set on the Playa! Don’t forget that the dust particulates are so small that they can damage your skin and lungs!
