Ja Rule Is Fed Up With Association With Fyre Festival

They say there is no such thing as bad publicity, but perhaps Ja Rule believes otherwise? The American rapper, who had co-founded the ill-fated Fyre Festival in 2017 alongside Billy McFarland, sounds like he’s had enough of constantly being associated with the Fyre fiasco. Earlier on, he had taken to Twitter to rightfully express his discontent towards “all of y’all that won’t let the Fyre shit go“.

Back in October last year, Ja had revealed on an episode of The Wendy Williams Show that he had intentions to plan his next music festival. And in November, he was officially cleared of any legal wrongdoing. Meanwhile, Billy McFarland had been sentenced to a six-year jail term for fraud, among other charges.

This comes after Ja Rule had announced his upcoming album, slated for release on February 29. Worthy of note is a track he had teased called ‘For Your Real Entertainment,’ in short, ‘F.Y.R.E.’ Claiming it a “therapeutic” and “fun” piece of work, it speaks of his experience with the infamous Fyre Festival.
