Berlin-based Ivohé, a genre-bending German-Venezuelan artist, has just shared her latest single, '𝓔strellita', a high-energy track blending alt-R&B, UK jungle, and introspective reggaeton.
Known for her innovative sound and evocative storytelling, Ivohé's '𝓔strellita' delivers lush pads, deep basslines, and rugged breaks that drive a hypnotic, fast-paced vibe. Her smooth vocals add a reflective layer, striking a balance between euphoria and soulful introspection.
The song centers around the themes of belonging, love, and guidance. "Estrellita," meaning "little star" in Spanish, is Ivohé’s symbol of hope and direction, a distant light guiding her through Berlin’s chaotic urban landscape. Drawing inspiration from Norah Jones’ 'Lonestar', Ivohé describes Berlin as a “Sin City” where she searches for her guiding star, a source of strength in turbulent times.
Produced with London-based collaborator Youf, '𝓔strellita' is a preview of her upcoming album, which will feature other bold tracks like 'Sin City' and blessings '4 the heart'.
