After releasing her self-titled debut album in April of this year, Fabiana Palladino is back with new music.
Self-written and produced, 'Drunk' was recorded at London’s iconic Abbey Road Studios this summer. Fabiana's father, the legendary Pino Palladino, joins the record by adding his signature bass.
A meditation on the "chaos of modern dating", Fabiana found inspiration whilst navigating the treachery of dating apps. From situationships to ghosting, love bombing and breadcrumbing, 'Drunk' is a relatable reflection on finding art and meaning in all the uncertainty and drama that comes with pursuing love.
'Drunk' sees Fabiana move away from the polished sound of her debut record to a more intimate tone; perhaps a sign of things to come as her artistry evolves.
Fabiana Palladino has picked up notable fans along the way, including Lorde, who declared: "I implore you to listen to this album, to my ear the year’s best. That it’s a DEBUT ALBUM is surreal to me”.
The London artist emerged in 2017 as one of the Paul Institute’s founding artists after being discovered by Jai Paul, who started the label alongside his brother A. K. Paul.
