Insomniac’s underground sector is celebrating its inauguration of Factory 93 Records with Eli Brown’s Escape EP. The compilation consists of three powerhouse weapons that will titillate your techno-loving souls. Since launching as a warehouse series and returning to Insomniac’s roots, Factory 93 has grown into a prominent purveyor of house and techno. We’ve seen their world-class festival showcases, open-air gatherings, club nights, and the launch of Secret Project. Join them now in continuing their prowess of music releases.
Firstly, is the title track ‘Escape‘, an unrelenting bass-driven piece with static synths resounding in the background. Its dark, brooding melody gives off a hint of old-school rave vibes. Accompanied by a crescendoing symphony of bassline elementals, this is how you party. Secondly, ‘Morning Light‘ transitions quickly right from the start, sitting at a steady 128 bpm. The melody gracefully arpeggiates, moving between high and low notes. Hi-hats alternatively cut in to give us that underground sound. This track fills the spaces between the first and last, for this sonic auditory journey.
Lastly, is ‘My House‘, an infectious tech house tune with catchy lyrics. Yes, “Your house is my house”, and “my house is your house”. The jaunty vibes are perfect for poolside sets, lofts, or rooftop parties. This sound showcases Eli Brown’s signature house sound infused with techno elements. All three-track pose a stunning musical affair, where Brown finds him touching on prime-time vibes with pure finesse.
He’s been a standout artist in the house world for quite some time now. His impact on the industry has garnered him support from industry stalwarts like Carl Cox, Green Velvet, Fisher, Claude VonStroke, and much more. What’s more, is his productions show grit, and create twisted, club-ready energy for the dance floors. We’re excited to see where his raw and caustic talent takes Factory 93 Records to.
