The largest EDM festival in America, Electric Daisy Carnival, closed out this weekend as a huge success. There were over 166,000 guests in attendance each night at the Las Vegas Motor Speedway in Nevada. Headliners with global recognition performed at visually stunning stages. Big names at EDC included David Guetta, Tiesto, Armin van Buuren, deadmau5, Zedd, Alesso, and Kaskade.
Every year though, there are people who don’t know how to act, which results in arrests and citations. This year 39 people were arrested and 13 misdemeanor citations were given at EDC according to Las Vegas Police. The metrics for the specifics of the 39 arrests haven’t yet been given. Last year 34 felony arrests occurred as well as 6 DUIs.
Festival season is back in full swing with Lightning in a Bottle coming up next week, and a plethora of more music coming all summer long. Remember to be safe and have fun out there.
