Drive-in shows have become the new normal during the pandemic, but Insomniac’s Dreamstate brand is now introducing dine-in shows. That’s right, a dining experience with trance. Guests will be served a six-course fine dining meal that will be just the appetizer for the main dish—a live set by Markus Schulz.
Dreamstate on Thursday announced three days for the dining experience with Schulz—November 27, 28 and 29 at The Circle in Huntington Beach, California. The event layout shows a stage and right beside it, a red section with four tables that looks like the VIP area. Behind it is a green section with 10 tables. And farthest from the stage is a blue section with eight tables.
“This will be our exploration of food and music where you will enjoy a stunning 6-course fine dining meal, along with your favorite Dreamstate artists in the most intimate of settings,” the brand wrote on social media.
According to the ticket site, seating begins at 7 p.m. and all guests must be seated by 8 p.m. The six-course meal will start at 8 p.m. No information has been released yet on set times or supporting artists. Tickets range from $160 to $600 per table, excluding fees. The price includes entry, food and the table reservation for the whole night. Red section ticket buyers have drinks included. The first two days have already sold out.
The dining experience in Orange County is not the first for Dreamstate or Schulz. The weekend before, on November 20, Schulz is headlining an outdoor distanced dining experience hosted by Dreamstate and The Midway at the venue in San Francisco, California. It is also a 21-and-over event and will go from 4 p.m. to 9 p.m. As of Thursday, tickets were 90 percent sold out, according to TranceFamily SF.
Tickets for Dreamstate SoCal on November 19 and 20, 2021, also went on sale on Thursday.
