Techno royalty Charlotte de Witte and her label KNTXT made a major announcement this week. They have formed a partnership with Apple Music. The label’s partnership will focus on the boss lady de Witte’s epic residency. Moreover, it will highlight other label operations such as live, radio, and guest mixes.
A statement from Apple Music’s Global Head of Dance and Electronic Stephen Campbell reads:
“At apple music, we’re big fans of Charlotte and all that she’s built with KNTXT, we’re really excited to provide her a global platform for her DJ mixes and creative output.”
Additionally, De Witte proudly stated:
“I’ve had a lot of radio and podcast experiences in the past and it’s something I always enjoyed doing. It enables me to showcase another side of techno and electronic music, not necessarily focussed on peak time club tracks, but offering a wide variety of deeper and more underground music. The entire KNTXT channel on Apple Music will be a look in my entire music collection. I’m excited to get started and take you on this journey with me!”
KNTXT profiles itself as a force in the techno landscape with one clear clear objective: serving a quality techno experience driven by both national as international acts while staying true to a genuine underground spirit.
This station is sure to bring the heat.
On first reveal in the launch includes mixes from techno heavy hitters. Specifically, epic artists such as Anna, Pär Grindvik. Chris Liebing, Shlomi Aber, Jon Hester, Amotik, and 747 are all showing as features.
Also, there will also be a KNTXT x New Form division. This will uniquely will let fans relive Charlotte de Witte’s New Form livestream mixes. Rave On Time, Formula, and Return To Nowhere are already available.
