Just a few weeks after announcing that Funk Wav BouncesVol.2 will be coming out this summer, Calvin Harris decided to reveal to his fanbase one of the collaborators that will be featured on the album. As a matter of fact, the Scottish producer posted a story on Instagram where you can hear Snoop Dogg talking over a piano and some strings. The video ends right when the drums kick in, leaving us with nothing but excitement. Check out a repost of the video here.
In the original clip, you could clearly hear Snoop saying: “Ladies and gentleman, boys and girls, I’d like to welcome you inside the Snoop Dogg, Calvin Harris experience”.
As you know, the list of collaborators for Funk Wav Bounces Vol.1 was nothing short of amazing. The album included names like Frank Ocean, Migos, Young Thug, Pharrell Williams, Katy Perry, and Nicki Minaj. Well, it seems like Harris is going to do it again.
Calvin Harris and Snoop Dogg already worked together in the past. In fact, they released ‘Holiday‘, alongside John Legend and Migos, on Funk Wav Bounces Vol.1. This snippet of Snoop and Harris working together again raises speculation about the collaborators on Funk Wav BouncesVol.2 even higher.
Surely, Harris seems to be very excited by his work. Last Friday, he said on Twitter that Funk Wav Bounces Vol.2 was “the maddest album I’ve ever put together by a lonnnggg way”. We still have a lot to discover about this album, but we should get more pieces of information like this in the upcoming weeks from the star DJ.
