Continuously unpredictable and ever-evolving, C4RP00L's second album, 'Creature Mode: Velocity', fuses the past and present.
Rock, alternative, and electronic hip hop can be found across the eight-track record. Eclectic production will keep you on the edge of your seat, as C4RP00L switch between slightly off-kilter singing and rapping.
The album's lead singles 'Doom Impending' and 'Stank Face' set the tone for the project. On the former, contemporary alt-rock vocal trends get a douse of nostalgia with early 2000s alternative rock melody, with production by Kent Danger. On 'Stank Face', which features Arleena and Loraiya, begins with an ominous, cinematic melody, and morphs into a feeling of urgency.
'Creature Mode: Velocity' truly shows the range of C4RP00L's ability. A group completely unafraid of limits, it's an exhibition in embracing experimentation.
