Disco Pogo host a night in tribute to LCD Soundsystem, which also marks the publication of their recent book 'A Disco Pogo Tribute To LCD Soundsystem' that features photos by Ruvan Wijesooriya, who is holding an exhibition at the bar.
The event takes place at London's The Social on January 16th and the exhibition will run until February 4th.
There will be an on stage interview on the night, by Disco Pogo's editor Jim Butler, with Ruvan Wijesooriya who was the band's unofficial photographer from the early days until 2011 when the band split up.
Selected photography from Ruvan will be exhibited in the ground-floor bar for two weeks. The prints are available to buy in various formats from Disco Pogo's online store.
DJs on the night are W.H. Lung's Tom Sharkett, who recently released an edit of LCD Soundsystem's 'Home', and friends of Disco Pogo Lou Hayter and Frank Tope who will be playing their fave LCD songs, DFA remixes, LCD adjacent music and selected electroclash works from the early 00s.
