Tomorrowland Winter has come and gone, and those that completed The Quest by FTX accessed exclusive sets from Joris Voorn and Kölsch. Now, you can watch those sets on YouTube. For more details on how the event went you can check out our review here.
Joris opened his set with a sensational ID, following it with another. It’s melodic and emotional, with fans swaying back and forth inside the special location. His auditory journey from start to finish showcased his experiments with synths sounds and drum loops. He played tracks from Joseph Ray, Nick Devon, Mees Salomé, Monkey Safari, and more. There is even a minimal techno ID I want to know and be released. The atmosphere is deep, fluid, and engaging throughout the entire set. What’s more, is the Dutchman is one of the most illustrious artists from Holland and demonstrates underground house and techno well wherever he goes. The secret show was a perfect accompaniment to his embodiment as an artist.
Rune Reilly Kölsch, also known as Kölsch, played a very drawn-out set with melodic, emotion-induced tracks. He delivered sonic soundscapes I haven’t heard of before. It takes about just over twenty minutes for the first track to drop. From there, the lights dance with each note he plays and it’s like jellyfish swimming through the ocean. Delicate, angelic synths sound off in the background while the melody slowly crescendos in. The groundbreaking cuts he weaves into his performances show timeless ambiance and provide a cathartic experience.
