The biggest bass festival in the world just took place this weekend. After a horrible year in which all festivals were canceled, Lost Lands came back. During 3 days, hundreds of thousands of ravers gathered to attend LL. A stacked lineup, amazing stages, and the best music. Truly a dream come true. However, it wasn’t all good. According to some reports, a shuttle located in the campground area suffered a major incident, leaving 9 injured. The shuttle overturned, injuring its passengers in the process. Thankfully, the incident did not evolve into something bigger.
A scary sight for sure. According to the reports from a local newspaper, the authorities responded to a distress call after the incident took place. The report discloses the information in the next quote:
“The transport shuttle was in the campground area when it overturned. THORNVILLE, Ohio — Nine people were injured after a transport shuttle overturned at the Lost Lands Music Festival Friday evening. Emergency crews were called to the 7500 block of Kindle Road around 6:30 p.m. after a report of an overturned vehicle.”
The accident took place during the festival’s first day. Thankfully there were no fatalities. While this is certainly bad news and something to look after, it did not affect the festival as a whole. Lost Lands took place after waiting for a year, and bass heads were happily reunited. Hopefully, everyone who was injured will recover soon. However, the incident is still a cause of alarm. According to the social networks, which we can’t confirm, but may actually contain some factual statements:
“The shuttle farm truck took a turn too sharp on a downhill slope, and it all rolled down the hill, according to someone I talked to who was standing on the side”
Certainly, a bad story. Wishing everyone a speedy recovery.
