With festival season back in full swing, the pandemic still continues and Insomniac has some COVID-19 guidelines. Posted today on their social media pages, Insomniac will be requiring a negative COVID-19 test within 72 hours or proof of full vaccination.
With Beyond Wonderland coming up this weekend, we will see how this affects entry times. But I think some will appreciate the extra precaution. You can take a photo of your vaccination card or negative test result if you don’t want to make a copy. I can only hope that we abide by the honor system since we’ve waited so long to reunite under the electric skies. With new health and entry protocols for all foreseeable Insomniac events, let’s do our part in keeping live events going.
Pasquale Rotella, founder of Insomniac Events, stated that specific details for each event will be updated in the next week. Certain states might have exceptions to some policies, based on local laws. We reported recently that Live Nation now requires all artists, crew, and attendees to either show proof of full vaccination or a negative test at their venues and upcoming festivals. That starts October 4th and is in full effect, with artists no longer able to set their own mandates.
For a list of their complete COVID-19 guidelines, you can visit their website here. Local and state officials strongly recommend that you wear a mask to keep you and those around you safe. Yes, security will check for verification each day of the event. Make sure to know before you go and also check on their terms and precautions. If anyone wants to get a test, follow the links below.
