Cyberpunk 2077 fans and techno fiends, tune in! Nina Kraviz just posted a video of her playing some in-game music. Not only is she a character in the game, but she also composed some wicked tracks perfect for the soundtrack.
She has traveled far and has succeeded in bringing together techno fans with gamers. The game is set to release tomorrow and fans have been wildin’ out about it. It first debuted at E3 and I got a chance to preview it. Featuring Keanu Reeves as the main point of contact, you journey through a futuristic, dystopian society and rampage. It casts a similiar Grant Theft Auto V vibe, but more cyberpunk.
In the video, she is dressed just like a video game character. With her short blue hair and her bomber jacket, she fits right in. CD Projekt Red has gone to great lengths in marketing this game. Its release was delayed due to COVID-19 but gamers can now ring in the new year stuck to their screens.
“The score is the main vessel of emotions in both movies and video games and Cyberpunk 2077 is no different. It actually took us a long time to find the right color of the music”. – Marcin Przybyłowicz, producer for the game
Technologies, robots, and humanity fuse together in this Blade Runner-esque world. Controlled by corporations and unencumbered by law, society needs you. What’s going to make the game is not just the graphics, gameplay, and aesthetic. The sound is just as important as the actual look of the game. Gamers should feel an emotional connection to it.
Hence, this video is a little preview of that. The flashing LED screens and Nina’s robotic voice chanting. She includes a wide range of different techno and it’s quite interesting. The countdown displayed on the screen during her set makes it feel even more game-like.
