Following the news that Sónar would be to celebrate its 25th anniversary, it seems only appropriate that the festival would top f its 2018 program with some seriously, out--this-world talent.
Taking place in Barcelona, Spain between June 14 -16, Sónar’s initial lineup announcement included live performances from the likes , Bonobo and Kode9 with DJ sets from artists such as Laurent Garnier, , Black Cfee and more.
The most recent update to the festival’s glistening musical agenda sees the addition fifty top-notch acts from around the globe. New names added to the bill include , , Silent Servant, , Mumdance, , Call Super, and many more.
The 25th anniversary celebration will also see the return 2manyDJs and James Murphy’s Despacio clubbing experience as well as a rare audio-visual performance from artists Alva Noto and Ryuichi Sakamoto - both whom will close out the festival program on Sunday night with their new show, ‘Two’.
